Final Paper Submission
Deadlines
The site for final paper submission will be opened on February, 29th, 2008.
The deadline for final paper submission is March, 14th, 2008.
Page Limit
The page limit for final submissions is 6 Pages. For the final submission, up to 2 extra pages (maximum 8 pages) are permitted. A prepayment (USD 200) will be required at the time of final submission for each page in excess of 6.
Final Paper Submission Notes
- When preparing the final version of a paper, it is important that any critical comments raised in the review process (reviewers’ comments and associate editor’s summary) are adequately addressed.
- All PDF files needed in the final submission should be preliminarily checked using the PaperPlaza PDF Test
- For any final contribution, you will be requested to fill in a copyright transfer form. This is done within PaperPlaza via an automatic link to the IEEE electronic copyright transfer process (IEEE eCP).
- Authors of accepted papers wishing to receive an invitation letter from CogSys 2008 (for visa purposes or similar) should request this through PaperPlaza.
- At least one of the authors listed on a contribution must register for CogSys 2008 when the final material is uploaded to PaperPlaza.
Checklist
- Final paper as PDF file (max 2 MB, in conference format, without headers/footers/page numbers, already checked for PaperPlaza PDF test)
- (only for submissions with video) Video attachment media file (max 5 MB, mpeg, mpg, mp4, you can specify that initial submission may be reused).
- (only for submissions with video) Video attachment Summary.txt file (max 1 KB) - Describe in 5 sentences or less the contents or value of the video.
- (only for submissions with video) Video attachment ReadMe.txt file (max 10 KB) - Textfile with the following sections: Description - an overall description of the video; Player Information - the minimum version of the player software required;

Instructions
All types of submissions to CogSys2008 must be uploaded electronically through PaperPlaza.
Step 1: Login
Go to PaperPlaza and login with your PIN. In your workspace, use enter to access the details of your submission. Follow the link final submission to start the submission process of the final paper.
Step 2: Update final submission information
During the process the system will ask you to update the submission information. Please be sure to enter the correct number of pages in your final manuscript. If an incorrect number is entered, you will not be able to upload the manuscript in a later step. REPEAT the process for each contribution for which you are the corresponding author.
Step 3: Copyright transfer
Follow the steps as described on IEEE eCP pages till the very end. If you quit midway, eCP will be incomplete and you will not be able to upload your contribution. REPEAT the process for each paper for which you are the corresponding author. Please make sure that paper title and author list is accurate before copyright transfer is performed.
Step 4: Pay registration and overlength charge
You will be guided to the PaperPlaza Registration site. When presented with contributions on which you are authors, PLEASE SELECT ONLY TWO TOWARDS WHICH YOUR REGISTRATION APPLIES and UNCHECK THE REST. Overlength charges (if any) will be automatically calculated. Complete your registration payment. If you have more than two contributions, ask your co-authors to register and associate two contributions per registration in the same manner as above.
Step 5: Upload files
You may now upload your files and attachments for contributions for which registration fees have been paid. All the files that need to be uploaded may be submitted from within Paperplaza.
