Direction from Geneva Airport to Nyon
Should there be enough participants arriving at the same time to Geneva on the Sunday afternoon, a minibus or coach can be organized to take you directly to Chateau de Bossey. We will provide detailed information later.
Alternatively, please walk through from Arrival level to the train station, which is within the airport. There are ticket machines at the entrance to the platforms. Select an intercity train for direction Lausanne that stops at Nyon. Do not select regional trains, which stop at every station. Once you arrive and depending on the time of your arrival, there will be a minibus to take you to the Chateau. There are taxi ranks outside the station as well.
At Geneva airport, there are also the regular car hire services. Please check when booking your plane ticket for this option.

In order to be allowed on a highway in Switzerland, you have to buy a 40 CHF windscreen sticker, either at the border or in any gas station. The ticket is valid for one year and there are no other tolls to pay. Then, for route planning and for a bulletin of road and traffic conditions, the Swiss Touring Club is a reliable source. The highway E25/A1 leads from the border with France via Geneva to Coppet exit, which is the exit before Nyon. For example, if coming from Geneva direction you exit at Coppet, turn left and cross over the highway by the bridge and follow the signs to Bogis Bossey which is the first right turn after the bridge. Then follow the road for about 5 minutes through the village of Chavannes de Bogis before turning sharp right into route des coudres. There will be a sign for Chateau de Bossey. Continue on this road which will take you back over the highway and follow it until you come to a four road cross road. Then take right and in 2 minutes you will arrive at the entrance of the Chateau. Parking is on your right. The parking is gravel so there are no marked places.
Please see the map below. The trip will take about 25 minutes.
